Hey there.
I have a suggestion that I Call back is or tin be much improve than a general tutorial.
One of the best ways to learn virtually and center out your own bug in anotmy is to hand over a sketch to someone who has an easier time with information technology. They then draw corrections over it (in a different colour. You lot tin then compare and meet just what information technology is your doing worng.
I'd be happy to do that for if y'all like the sound of the idea.

Yeah, proportions are a killer Y'all might want to cheque over on yerf.com, they have a forum specifically for critiques, and they also advise a several books that have helped their members.
For those who aren't familiar, Yerf is an online fine art gallery for anthropomorphic artwork, and the quality in that location is extremely high, some of those people make a living with their fine art. There's a lot of skillful advice to be had there!

Hey! I think i'll check that myself. Thanks wingedcheetah.
"Anatomy for the artist" is proficient. Bang-up pictures and it even takes master paintgs of former and picts them apart to prove what the MASTERS did wrong and how information technology would truley go in life.
And A FANTASIC Book for facial expressions is "facial expressions" past: mark simon.
Ofcourse the is the classic, that I think is in merely about everyartists collection "Dynamic anatomy".

Yerf.com is awesome.
I think the thing with anthros is that they're so diverse. You get anthros which are JUST an brute head on a perfectly man-shaped trunk, like the way the Egyptian gods are depicted - they're near common:
Or those that have horse-shaped legs and longer artillery... it's actually upwardly to you lot to make up one's mind how far y'all desire to go with the anthropomorphism...

just be conscientious posting people's pics and be sure to credit. I know Goldenwolf has had a lot of problems in the past with fine art thieves, then jsut a heads upwardly, those niggling buggers are everywhere!
It is difficult to mix the two. I've been working on my anthropomorphism for a while.

I know information technology'southward easy to get discouraged at the starting time, merely it's really not off-white to compare yourself to someone who'due south been arting for 30 years. Chins upward girls! We're all great artists
